The first Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Computational Intelligence Academic Exchange Seminar was successfully held
The first Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Computational Intelligence Academic Exchange Seminar hosted by Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Southern University of Science and Technology was successfully held in SUSTech from November 13 to November 15, 2017.
Professor Xu Zongben from Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Jiao Licheng, from Xidian University, Professor Sun Fuchun from Tsinghua University, Professor LU Baoliang from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Zeng Zhigang from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Researcher Hou Zengguang from Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Zhang Jian from Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Researcher Shan Shiguang from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor Erik Goodman from Michigan State University were invited to attend the conference and give an academic report. Professor Yao Xin, director of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, chaired the conference. The seminar attracted more than one hundred experts, scholars and students in the field of Computational Intelligence attending.

The seminar included nine high-level academic reports covering the cutting-edge area of computational intelligence such as big data, intelligent perception, artificial neural network, robots and machine vision.
