2018年8月20日至21日，由南方科技大学计算机科学与工程系、南方科技大学人工智能研究院、深圳市计算智能重点实验室共同主办的“南科大多目标优化及应用前沿研讨会（Workshop on “Advances in Multi-objective Optimisation and Its Applications“）”在南科大图书馆110报告厅圆满举行。南方科技大学计算机系主任、讲席教授、IEEE Fellow姚新，墨西哥国立理工学院高级研究中心教授、IEEE Fellow Carlos A. CoelloCoello，英国德蒙福特大学教授Shengxiang Yang，新西兰惠灵顿维多利亚大学教授、新西兰皇家学会院士Mengjie Zhang，英国萨里大学教授、IEEE Fellow Yaochu Jin，南方科技大学计算机系讲席教授、IEEE Fellow HisaoIshibuchi，香港城市大学教授、IEEE Fellow Qingfu Zhang，香港城市大学教授、IEEE Fellow Kay Chen Tan，南方科技大学助理教授程然，香港大学教授、Fellow of ASA Guosheng Yin，香港科技大学教授、IEEE Fellow James Kwok以及南科大计算机系讲席教授、IEEE Fellow史玉回以及校内外多目标优化领域的学者专家共一百五十多人出席并参与了该研讨会。
